KIEV, April 19 (Reuters) - Black Sea states are likely to boost their rapeseed harvest to up to 3.2 million tonnes in 2007 from about 1.8 million in 2006 due to a jump in local and export demand, analysts said on Thursday.

Serhiy Feofilov, head of Ukraine's leading UkrAgroConsult consultancy, told an international grain conference that regional states -- Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Moldova and Bulgaria -- could further increase their rapeseed harvest to more than 5.0 million tonnes by 2010.

He said farms were likely to increase the area sown to rapeseed in favour of sunflower.

Feofilov said the 2007 sunseed crop could be flat on the 2006 level, or near 14 million tonnes, including about 5.0 million in Ukraine and more than 6.0 million in Russia.

He also said that Ukraine, a traditional sunoil exporter, was likely to export up to 1.6 million tonnes of sunoil in 2007/08, while Russia could export some 600,000 tonnes next season.

Feofilov added the overall sunoil exports from the Black Sea region was seen at 2.2-2.3 million tonnes in 2007/08, almost the same as the region planned to export this season.

He said a higher rapeseed crop could be exported or processed into biofuel. "In 2006 about 40 small plants started biodiesel output in Ukraine," Feofilov said.

"We estimate Ukraine's biodiesel production at 28,000-32,000 tonnes in the 2006/07 season."
